Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”
Nelson Mandela

Early School Leaving is a severe problem for many European countries to face. It represents missed opportunities for young people, reducing the chance to participate in the social, cultural and economic dimension of society, and increasing risk of unemployment, poverty and social exclusion. In Europe, one in seven students is an early school leaver. The gravity of the situation has given rise to many attempts to combat this issue.

Don’t Waste Your Future project aims to support institutions in fighting against Early School Leaving (ESL). Partners will find out different solutions by exchanging ideas, sharing best practices and innovative approaches to improve the quality of training for students and young people at risk of ESL or for those that have already left school.

DWYF project is a concrete support for teachers dealing with the problem of Early School Leaving in their classes and for those young people who want to leave school and need a good reason to continue their education pathways, offering both teachers and students:

  • a best practice guide on how to fight the problem of ESL;
  • an online space for students, teachers and parents than want to share experiences and suggestions;
  • online training material through an e-learning zone for teachers dealing with ESL.
